Last Day will be a Full Day!

Good Morning, and Happy Spring to Everyone! I think it’s finally here to stay! As we watch the grass turn green, and get eager to put our vegetable plants and flowers in the ground, the temperatures continue to warm, and everyone gets excited to not be shoveling snow!

We need to make one last calendar change, due to excessive snow days. Total, we ended up with 9 1/2 closed days, with the 1/2 being the power outage we had in November, due to high winds. The State has forgiven our extra full 3 days, but we need to make up the other 3 hours, so now the last day of school will be a full day! The good news here is that all of the activities that we cram into the last day will now be spread out, so we can actually enjoy them all!

Here are the major events for the last day, Friday, June 8th:

8:15–School starts
8:30–Pledge and Creed Assembly (K-12)
8:45–6-12th grade Awards

10:00–8th grade Graduation
11:15–Senior Walk Out Parade
11:45–Regular Lunches Start

1:00–Kindergarten Graduation
2:00–Elementary Awards
3:00–Final Locker Clean Out!
3:10–Dismissal

Please let me know if you have any questions!

As we dismiss early and take Monday to remember those who have fought and died for our country, please take pause to enjoy your families, friends, and all we have to be grateful for this Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy your time, and we’ll see you back on Tuesday!
