Mrs. Knight has been here for a number of years, and it was quite the surprise this week when students found out she was retiring. After a 38 year career as a dance teacher, Mrs. Knight is excited to hang up her dance shoes and begin her retirement spending more time focusing on her ministry, which is a huge passion of hers. I'd like to personally thank Mrs. Knight and all she has done for the Dance program here, as it has continued to be a vital part of who our school is. We hope she enjoys her retirement, and that she isn't a stranger here!
With such a surprise, the students began asking, "Now what?" Fortunately, I am grateful we have an answer! If you've been around Concord as long as some of us have, you know who Ms. Sarah Christensen is; pictures of her and her dance students already adorn the halls, as she taught Dance here for a number of years quite some time ago. When I approached her, she quickly accepted, and is very excited to be back in the classroom, working with our students! Tomorrow will be her first day, and we're very excited to welcome her back!
